We’re excited to share that Saferight will soon be delivering the TLILIC0021 – Licence to Operate a Slewing Mobile Crane (up to 100 tonnes), better known as the C1 Crane course.
This nationally accredited training opens doors for crane operators ready to take the next step in their careers. With a C1 licence, you’ll be qualified to operate slewing mobile cranes up to 100 tonnes — and also retain authority over operations within the lower permitted classes.
What You’ll Learn
Our C1 Crane course blends theory with intensive hands-on training. You’ll learn to plan, set up, and operate a slewing mobile crane safely and efficiently, using real-world lifting scenarios and best industry practices.
- Plan and prepare crane operations under varying lifting conditions
- Set up, operate, and control a slewing mobile crane (up to 100 tonnes)
- Perform pre-operational checks and risk assessments
- Safely shut down and secure the crane when finished
Who This Course Is For
This course is particularly suited for operators who want to “level up”—for example, those who already hold a C6 Crane Licence and wish to expand their credentials.
Prerequisite: Dogging High Risk Work Licence (DG) is required.
When and Where
📅 First intake: 10–13 November 2025 (Welshpool). Enrolments are now open.
Training takes place at our Welshpool facility, where you’ll work with cranes and industry-standard equipment under the guidance of our experienced trainers.
