A VOC Gantry or Overhead Crane assessment is a theory and practical assessment that confirms you’ve maintained the skills and knowledge behind your existing gantry or overhead crane qualification. A VOC (Verification of Competency) Gantry or Overhead Crane assessment doesn’t replace your original ticket; it verifies that you’re still competent to operate a gantry or overhead crane safely.

Specifically, this assessment confirms that an individual has maintained the skills and knowledge attained as per RIIHAN305D Operate a gantry or overhead crane or equivalent.

Who Needs a VOC Gantry or Overhead Crane Assessment?

Many WA mine sites, workshops, warehouses, processing facilities and resources employers require a current VOC, commonly one issued within the last two years, before you can operate a gantry or overhead crane on their site.
