Verification of Competency (VOC) Assessments by Saferight
A Verification of Competency (VOC) is a theory and practical assessment that confirms you have maintained the skills and knowledge behind a licence or qualification you already hold. It doesn’t replace your original ticket — it verifies you are still competent to use it. Many WA mine sites, principal contractors and civil employers require a current VOC (commonly issued within the last two years) before you can operate plant on their site.
Saferight delivers VOC assessments across more than 30 machine and licence classes — cranes, earthmoving plant, forklift, EWP, scaffolding, rigging and dogging — at WA’s largest training facility in Welshpool and at Fremantle. Most VOC assessments are $320 per class and are typically completed in a single session, with your VOC certificate issued once your assessment is marked.
