Our Site Senior Executive WHS Risk Management course in Perth gives aspiring SSEs in WA mining the nationally accredited Units of Competency, regulatory knowledge and practical decision-making skills needed to step into a Statutory Supervisor role.The program covers three Units of Competency, in line with the requirements outlined in Schedule 26 of the WHS (Mines) Regulations (WA) 2022, as mandated by WorkSafe.In addition to completing these Units of Competency, successful participants are also required to pass an examination administered by the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS). - Provide information to the work team about WHS policies and procedures
- Implement and monitor work team consultative arrangements for managing WHS
WHS Training & Compliance
- Implement and monitor organisational procedures for providing WHS training to the work team

- Implement and monitor organisational procedures for maintaining WHS records
Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment
- Access information and data used to identify hazards, and to assess and control risks
- Facilitate the identification of hazards and potential hazards

Risk Management & Control
- Contribute to identifying risk management requirements and compliance
