This Incident Management Training (IMT) course aims to enhance the abilities and understanding of individuals, enabling them to effectively manage IMT activities in alignment with their company’s guidelines. These activities encompass both offshore and onshore incidents, whether in a supportive or direct response capacity.
The course content also addresses the practical aspects of defining team responsibilities, along with the processes involved in assembling and deploying additional resources essential for effective response.
To attain the qualification, team leaders must undertake the course alongside their fellow team members from the same organization. Key roles within an IMT comprise the Team Leader, Operations, Planning, Logistics, and Log Keeper positions.
Incident Managers are essential for overseeing the response to and management of incidents that impact business operations. This role involves coordinating incident response teams, ensuring rapid service restoration, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
