This UETDRRF004 – Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel training course, commonly known as the LVR CPR Perth course, is designed for electricians and non-electrical personnel in Perth. It provides essential training in low voltage rescue procedures from live low voltage (LV) apparatus, ensuring participants can safely perform rescue from a live LV panel. The course meets mandatory requirements for transmission, distribution, or rail work functions, covering responsibilities for health, safety, and risk management. By enrolling in this LV rescue course in Perth, participants will integrate safety practices into their daily work routines.

Students will gain practical skills and knowledge to:

  • Prepare for LVR CPR procedures from live LV panels

    • Perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer CPR (5 cycles of compressions and ventilations) on an adult mannequin, essential for low voltage rescue scenarios
    • Perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer CPR (5 cycles of compressions and ventilations) on an infant mannequin, strengthening LV rescue preparedness
  • Communicate incident details clearly, a critical component of LVR CPR training

Entry Requirements for the LVR CPR Course in Perth:

  1. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
  2. Ability to read, write, and understand English is required for effective low voltage rescue training.
  3. Please present photo identification upon arrival.
  4. If you have any physical conditions that may affect your ability to perform LV rescue procedures, please obtain a “Fit for Work” certificate from a doctor and send it to our bookings email.
    1. Note: Saferight reserves the right to cancel enrolment if documentation is not provided or if you are deemed unfit for LVR CPR training. Cancellation fees apply without adequate notice.
  5. Wear steel cap shoes/boots and remove all jewellery before starting the course.
  • Theory Component: Covers essential knowledge for performing rescue from a live LV panel and providing CPR.
  • Practical Component: Hands-on training in low voltage rescue techniques and CPR procedures.

On successful completion of this LVR CPR training, students will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for the units below along with a wallet sized card:

  • UETDRMP007 – Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel
  • HLTAID009 –  Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

This certification is essential for anyone involved in low voltage rescue and LV rescue operations. The Statement of Attainment has no expiry date, but retraining every two years is recommended to maintain proficiency in LVR CPR skills.

The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance.
