Demonstrate Fire Attack Fire Fighting Equipment

This Demonstrate Fire Attack Fire Fighting Equipment course is for those who may be required to use portable fire extinguishers, fire hose reels and fire blankets.

Students will attain the practical application and understanding required to operate first attack fire fighting equipment in emergency situations and will be able to:

• Use of Portable Fire Extinguisher: Explain various extinguisher types, identify fire classifications, select appropriate extinguisher, and demonstrate its safe and correct use.
• Use of Fire Hose Reel: Explain the hose reel’s purpose, unroll and operate it correctly, direct water stream, turn off and check for leaks, and rewind post-use.
• Use of Fire Blanket: Explain the purpose of fire blankets and demonstrate their safe and effective use.
