Site Senior Executive WHS Risk Management Training imparts essential expertise in WHS (Work Health and Safety) and risk management. It equips aspiring SSEs in the mining sector of Western Australia with the necessary skills, knowledge, and nationally recognised Units of Competency.
The program covers three Units of Competency, in line with the requirements outlined in Schedule 26 of the WHS (Mines) Regulations (WA) 2022, as mandated by WorkSafe
In addition to completing these Units of Competency, successful participants are also required to pass an examination. This examination is administered by the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS). For more information about this examination, please refer to the official DMIRS website.
Students will attain the practical application and knowledge required to become a Statutory Supervisor, including:

On successful completion of this course, students will be issued with a Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for the unit below along with a physical copy of the WA WHS Act and mining regulations certificate:

Main eligibility criteria include: Reference and project details of 6 months of construction work in WA out of the past 12 months prior to your course commencement with Saferight.
