Training & Assessment
This course is designed to qualify individuals as trainers or assessors, meeting national standards for delivering and assessing accredited programs in industries like mining, construction, and high-risk environments.
Module 1 is the entry point to training and assessment and a pathway toward the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122). It includes TAEDEL311 – Provide Work Skill Instruction and BSBCMM411 – Make Presentations, building the foundational skills needed to deliver compliant training within the Australian VET system.
Module 2 is the next step in the pathway toward the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) and includes TAEPDD401 – Work Effectively in the VET Sector, providing an overview of the Australian VET system, regulatory requirements, compliance obligations, and the role of trainers and assessors.
Module 3 is the next stage in the pathway toward the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) and includes TAELLN422 – Use Foundation Skills Resources, Strategies and Advice, focusing on identifying and supporting learners’ language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills to deliver inclusive and effective training.
Module 4 focuses on competency-based assessment and includes three core Certificate IV units: TAEDES411, TAEASS412, and TAEASS413. This module builds practical skills in competency-based assessment and is also delivered as the standalone Assessor Skill Set (TAESS00019) for those looking to work specifically as assessors.
Module 5 develops advanced skills in designing and delivering vocational training and workplace learning. Covering TAEDES412, TAEDEL411, and TAEDEL412. This module is also delivered as the standalone Workplace Trainer Skill Set (TAESS00020).
Module 6 focuses on online and blended delivery, covering TAEDEL405 and TAEASS404. You’ll develop the skills to plan and facilitate engaging online training and conduct compliant assessments in digital learning environments
