Course Structure Overview
The TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is delivered as in entire CERT as whole or through six structured, bookable modules (Modules 1–6). This modular structure allows participants to take on as much or as little study workload as suits their availability, making it ideal for working professionals.
Participants may enrol in individual modules and progress through the course over time, picking up where they need to based on their experience, availability, and learning goals. This flexible approach allows learners to build skills progressively rather than completing the qualification all at once.
All modules are delivered using a blended delivery model, combining:
- Online learning activities for theory, preparation, and knowledge development, and
- Face-to-face training sessions for practical application, facilitation, and assessment activities
This structure ensures learners receive the flexibility of online study while still gaining the hands-on experience and trainer support required to meet VET compliance and assessment standards.
Learners can complete the full qualification or individual modules at their own pace, with credit applied toward the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as units are successfully achieved.
Modules
The TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is broken into six structured, bookable modules (Modules 1–6). Each module focuses on a specific skill set required for effective training and assessment practice.
Learners can enrol in individual modules or complete the full sequence, depending on their workload, experience, and availability. This modular structure allows you to take on as much or as little study at a time as you choose, and to start or resume training where it best suits your needs over time.
All modules are delivered using a blended delivery model, combining:
- Online learning for theory, preparation, and knowledge-based activities, and
- Face-to-face training for practical application, facilitation, and assessment tasks
Modules are designed to support progressive skill development, allowing learners to build confidence and capability step by step while working toward the full qualification.
Successful completion of modules contributes toward the TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, with credit applied as units are achieved.
