Articulated Haul Truck/Dump Truck Training overview
This Conduct Articulated Haul Truck Operations training course in Perth is aimed at those currently working or seeking work in operational roles in the mining and construction industries and will be required to operate an articulated haul truck.
Students will attain the theoretical knowledge and the practical application to operate articulated haul truck properly and will be able to:
- Plan for Articulated Haul Operations: Access and apply truck documentation, clarify work requirements, identify hazards, select PPE, interpret geological data, and coordinate on-site.
- Operate Articulated Haul Truck: Conduct prestart checks, rectify/report faults, drive and operate truck as per site conditions, monitor equipment performance and safety.
- Load, Haul, and Dump Materials: Position truck for loading, execute haulage and dumping operations, and perform post-operation inspection.
- Housekeeping: Clear work area, manage hazards, and complete necessary documentation.

Entry Requirements
- Must be 18 years old and above
- Ability to read, write and understand English
- Present photo I.D. on arrival
- Complete a ‘Fitness to Complete Training’ form upon arrival at the training facility. The student is required to declare any medical issue that may exclude them from full participation
- Wear steel cap boots and remove all jewellery prior to commencement
- Bring along a hi-vis vest

On successful completion of this course, students will receive a:
- Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO337E – Conduct articulated haul truck operations
