New Requirement for Mining Supervisors: Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisors Course Now Available at Saferight Fremantle

If you’re currently working as a supervisor or team leader in the mining industry, now is the time to upskill. From 30 March 2026, it will be mandatory for supervisors to hold specific units of competency to meet Schedule 26 statutory requirements under WHS legislation.

At Saferight’s Fremantle training facility, you can now enrol in the Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisors Course, which includes the following nationally recognised units:

  • BSBWHS411 – Implement and Monitor WHS Policies, Procedures and Programs
  • BSBWHS414 – Contribute to WHS Risk Management

Course Details

  • Location: Saferight Training Facility – Fremantle, WA
  • Duration: 3 days
  • Time: 7:00am to 3:30pm daily
  • Next Course Start Date: 22 April 2025
  • Price: On sale now for $900 (normally $1,200)
  • Funding: CTF funding available for eligible participants (see eligibility criteria)
  • Entry Requirements: None – open to all

Outcome: Upon completion, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for BSBWHS411 and BSBWHS414
