This course covers the skills and knowledge required to safely identify, handle, and store dangerous goods and hazardous substances in the workplace.
Participants will learn how to:
Identify hazardous materials using class labels, manifests, and documentation.
Apply correct storage and handling procedures in line with legislation and site requirements.
Follow incident and emergency response procedures, including correct use of equipment and reporting processes.
Select and apply safe manual handling and load-shifting techniques for different classes of goods.
By the end of the course, participants will understand how to manage hazardous substances safely, minimise risks, and comply with WHS regulations.
Completing this course allows participants to work safely in environments where dangerous goods and hazardous substances are handled, stored, or transported.

Your Statement of Attainment does not have an expiry date, however, industry standards recommend retraining every two years. The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance.

Individuals holding a student visa are not eligible to enrol in, participate in, or attend any of our courses, whether face-to-face or online.
