VOC Grader overview
This VOC Grader assessment confirms that an individual has maintained the skills and knowledge attained as per RIIMPO324F Conduct Civil Construction Grader Operations.
Participants must hold a valid Class C driver’s licence as a minimum to attend this course. If you’ve just arrived in Australia, you can join the course with your international C-Class licence, as it’s valid for up to three months. After that, you’ll need a WA driver’s licence to participate.
Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments are used to confirm that individuals have the skills to operate equipment competently, safely and are aware of current workplace procedures for the class of licence for which they hold.

Entry Requirements
- Must hold a valid high-risk work licence
- Provide a copy of the Statement of Attainment for RIIMPO324F Conduct Civil Construction Grader Operations
- Must be 18 years old and above
- Applicants are required to hold a valid Class C licence as a minimum. If you’ve just arrived in Australia, you can join the course with your international C-Class licence, as it’s valid for up to three months. After that, you’ll need a WA driver’s licence to participate.
- Present a valid photo I.D. on arrival
- If you have any physical conditions that may affect your ability to complete a course, please visit a doctor and obtain a “Fit for Work” certificate, and send it to our bookings email.
- Please note, Saferight reserves the right to cancel your enrolment if this documentation is not provided and you are deemed unfit for training. Additionally, cancellation fees will apply if adequate notice is not given.
- Wear steel cap boots, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt
- Bring along a hi-vis vest
- Ability to read, write and understand English

Although VOC assessments are conducted in line with the requirements of the relevant nationally recognised unit(s) of competency, they are not considered nationally recognised training.
Obtaining this ticket does not authorise you to operate this machine on public roads unless you hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence. You are only permitted to drive the machine within your worksite. If you need to obtain an HR licence, visit: Department of Transport WA – Heavy Rigid Licence.

Can I enrol in Saferight courses if I hold a student visa?
Individuals holding a student visa are not eligible to enrol in, participate in, or attend any of our courses, whether face-to-face or online. Because Saferight is not registered with CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students). Student visa holders are encouraged to seek training with a CRICOS-registered institution to meet their requirements.
