The MARF037 Follow Vessel Security Procedures course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to maintain security and safety on board vessels in accordance with maritime regulations.
This nationally accredited unit covers recognising security threats, applying access controls, responding to emergencies, and following vessel security plans. It is ideal for anyone working in maritime, port, or offshore operations who requires security awareness training.
Students will attain the theory and practical application to follow vessel security procedures properly and will be able to:
Identify and follow vessel security requirements and responsibilities
Recognise potential security threats and respond appropriately
Apply emergency and evacuation procedures
Report security incidents through the correct chain of command

All courses run at Saferight are Nationally Accredited in Australia, except for permit issuers, Height Safety Supervisor, and courses under the VOC category.

Individuals holding a student visa are not eligible to enrol in, participate in, or attend any of our courses, whether face-to-face or online. Because Saferight is not registered with CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students). Student visa holders are encouraged to seek training with a CRICOS-registered institution to meet their requirements.
