Articulated Dump Truck & Water Cart Ticket Perth overview
This Articulated Dump Truck & Water Cart Operations Ticket is aimed at those currently working or seeking work in operational roles in the Civil construction industries and will be required to operate an articulated dump truck and a water cart/water truck machine.
Applicants are required to hold a valid Class C licence as a minimum. If you’ve just arrived in Australia, you can join the course with your international C-Class licence, as it’s valid for up to three months. After that, you’ll need a WA driver’s licence or an International Driver’s Licence Permit (IDP) to participate.
Students will attain the theoretical knowledge and practical application and understanding required to safely and efficiently operate a wheeled front-end loader and integrated tool carrier, and will be able to:
Plan Articulated Dump Truck & Water Cart Operations
- Interpret documentation
- Clarify instructions
- Identify hazards
- Select PPE
- Arrange traffic signage
- Choose suitable equipment
- Prepare for emergencies, and coordinate on-site.
Operate Articulated Dump Truck & Water Cart
- Conduct pre-start checks
- Rectify/report faults, drive and operate adapting to work conditions
- Monitor hazards and safety, and manage equipment performance.
- Shut down and inspect equipment after use.
Load, Haul, and Dump Materials
- Position truck for loading
- Execute haulage and dumping operations
- Perform post-operation inspection
Water Distribution
- Position vehicle for loading/distribution
- Adhere to capacity limits
- Operate to avoid surge/sway
- Efficiently distribute water
- Conduct post-operation checks
Select, use, and remove attachments
- Choose appropriate attachments
- Fit and test attachments
- Use attachments within design limits
- Remove and store attachments properly
Housekeeping
- Clean work area
- Manage hazards and complete necessary documentation.

Entry Requirements
To enter the Articulated Dump Truck & Water Cart Ticket in Perth WA, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be 18 years old and above
- Applicants are required to hold a valid Class C licence as a minimum. If you’ve just arrived in Australia, you can join the course with your international C-Class licence, as it’s valid for up to three months. After that, you’ll need a WA driver’s licence to participate.

- Wear steel cap boots, long pants, and a long-sleeved shirt

- Ability to read, write and understand English

If your LLN skills are assessed as needing improvement to meet the course requirements, we may recommend additional support or training to help you succeed. - Individuals holding a student visa are not eligible to enrol in, participate in, or attend this course, whether face-to-face or online, as Saferight is not registered with CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students). Certification
On successful completion of this Articulated Dump Truck & Water Cart Ticket in Perth course, students will receive the Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment for:
- RIIMPO337E – Conduct articulated haul truck operations
- RIIMPO326E – Conduct water vehicle operations
The Unique Student Identifier (USI) must be supplied and verified prior to issuance.
Obtaining this ticket does not authorise you to operate this machine on public roads unless you hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence. You are only permitted to drive the machine within your worksite. If you need to obtain an HR licence, visit: Department of Transport WA – Heavy Rigid Licence.

This dump truck/moxy truck/haul truck training will utilise the 6 Tonne MACH2065 model, with 55.4kW of power and 405 Nm of max torque.
